The Day of the Lord

We see seven major events ahead of us as the coming of the Day of the Lord draws near:

Worldwide revival: the harvest (latter) rain will fall from Heaven in the days to come.
Righteousness and lawlessness will come to maturity.
The love of the majority will grow cold (the apostasy).
The man of sin (Antichrist) will drive the saints into hiding.
The man of sin will take his seat in the restored Temple in Jerusalem.
The last trumpet will sound and Christ will gather His saints to Himself and pour out destruction on the wicked.
Christ and His saints will descend to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth.

Worldwide Revival: the Harvest (Latter) Rain Will Fall From Heaven in the Days To Come.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14)

We believe that the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures are informing us that we now are in the greatest revival of all time. It is the season of the harvest (latter) rain, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit of which the Prophets spoke (Joel 2:23; Hosea 6:3; Zechariah 10:1). All the ministries and gifts of the Spirit (Romans, Chapter Twelve, Ephesians, Chapter Four; I Corinthians, Chapter 12) are to be restored and operating. Signs and wonders of unprecedented power and variety are to follow the preaching of the Good News of the soon-coming Kingdom of God.

The harvest rain must fall in order to bring the planting of the Lord to maturity. The planting of the Lord is Christ in the hearts of people.

As soon as the Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, then the darkness of Antichrist will settle on the earth and the testimony of Christ will be driven from the cities of the world. The remnant of saints will wait in the wilderness areas until the Lord returns from Heaven.

With regard to Antichrist:

He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down [profaned].
Because of transgression [rebellion], an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered. (Daniel 8:11,12)

The idea seems to be that Antichrist will magnify himself to be equal with Christ and that the host of God will be given into the hands of Antichrist, just as the Apostle Peter was tested by Satan, and that people will worship (make their daily offering to) Antichrist instead of the Lord Jesus. Those will be terrible days We always look to Heaven for the truth of God. But at that time truth will be cast down to the ground. Then God and His salvation will be found only in the remnant.

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the remnant whom the LORD calls. (Joel 2:32)

From our point of view, the “mount Zion” and “Jerusalem” mentioned above are those found in Heaven, while the warlike remnant will be both in Heaven and also protected somewhere on the earth. In those days the Throne of Almighty God will be in a process of transition from His Temple in Heaven to the hearts of those who are ready to experience the spiritual fulfillment of the Old Testament feast of Tabernacles.

Matthew 24:14 does not state everyone will be saved. Rather, the Gospel will be preached for a witness to all nations. Before the Lord Jesus returns, the saints will be empowered to testify to the entire earth of God, His righteous ways, and of judgment to come. The purpose of the end-time witness is to save as many people as possible from destruction in the Day of the Lord.

In the end-time the saints will be clothed with the spirit and power of Elijah and Elisha—the double portion. They will bear witness of Christ in power, according to the Word given in Acts 1:8. Just as one man, John the Baptist, was “Elijah” who bore witness of the first coming of the Lord Jesus, so it is true that the “remnant” of the believers will prepare the way for the return of Christ to the earth.

The remnant (Romans 11:5) consists of every Christian man, woman, boy, and girl who will accept Christ as his or her personal Savior and Lord and serve Him with a whole heart.

First the harvest (latter) rain. Then the burning sun of tribulation so that the “heads of wheat” will be ready for the harvest. It requires both rain and sun to bring wheat to maturity.

The wheat and the tares will come to maturity side by side. Then will arrive the time of the end when the messengers of the Lord remove from the Kingdom of God all that is offensive to the Lord, including those people who refuse to be separated from their sins.

Let us pray that God will empower each of us with a double portion of His Holy Spirit and send us forth to labor in His vineyard until the work is finished.

Righteousness and Lawlessness Will Come to Maturity

‘Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” (Matthew 13:30)

We know from the above verse that both the wheat and the tares will come to maturity, and then Christ will come for the harvest. The harvest, in the Scriptures, is symbolic of judgment.

The “wheat” is Christ being formed in the members of the Body of Christ. Therefore we understand that the saints will come “in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). The Lord Jesus will return as soon as the saints attain spiritual maturity.

The “tares” represent the expression of Satan in the peoples of the earth. We understand that while the saints are growing into the fullness of the image of Christ the wicked of the earth will be growing into the fullness of the hideous image of Satan.

The believers will mature into the fullness of godly behavior. The wicked will mature into the fullness of sin and rebellion against God. Then the Lord Jesus will appear from Heaven and separate the tares from the wheat, binding the tares in bundles to be burned.

At that time the righteous will shine as the sun in the Kingdom of God.

The Love of the Majority Will Grow Cold (the Apostasy)

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many [most] will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)

When persecution abounds, our love for Christ become white hot. Suffering causes us to cease from sin. It is “iniquity” (wickedness; lawlessness) that ruins professing Christians and their churches. Plenty to eat and drink, abundance of leisure time, the ready availability of sin, the social acceptance of godless living—these will pull down to destruction all but the strongest of the saints.

The most formidable foe facing the end-time churches is not persecution, although the anointed remnant shall be persecuted. The greatest enemy is self-centered, self-directed, pleasure-seeking lawlessness.

Some translators prefer, the love of “most people,” or of the “majority.” Here is the great “falling away,” the worldwide apostasy, the defection from all authority, the coming revolt against God on the part of the majority of believers.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (II Timothy 3:1-4)

Lawlessness will come to horrible fruition in the last days. Every sort of temptation will be dangled before the eyes of God’s people. If we are not living a dedicated, disciplined, overcoming life we will be led astray by the offer of easy, comfortable “Christian” living—a form of godliness that contains none of the Presence of the Holy Spirit of God.

Added to this temptation will be the threat of the loss of our ability to provide the necessary food, drink, and shelter for our families; although God, according to His promise, will take care of all the needs of those who look to Him.

I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. (Psalms 37:25)

Economic pressure will be brought on the believers by Antichrist as he wages war against the saints.

The ready access to easy living and sin combined with economic pressure and other persecution, will result in a separation between the true saints and the lukewarm, professing Christians. The lukewarm believer no longer will have fellowship with the saint who is willing to stand resolutely against the Antichrist spirit.

Multitudes of the Lord’s people are being led astray by the doctrine that states we can indulge in all the pleasures of the world and then reign with Christ at His appearing. Is this the ancient Gospel of the Kingdom of God? Do you feel any bloody nail prints in this doctrine? We do not. We believe in taking up our cross and following Christ, expecting the approval of God alone.

The individual who does not forsake all he possesses, does not take up His cross and follow the Master in patient obedience, is not a true Christian.

The Lord God gives us many good things to enjoy. But we are not “home” yet. We are strangers and pilgrims in the present world.

Is your love for Christ white hot? Or has an easy, comfortable way of life caused your zeal to become lukewarm? Are you ready to give your life in the service of Christ if He should so direct?

Let each of us take heed that the following Word of Christ does not apply to us:

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. (Revelation 3:15,16)

We understand Laodicea to be the church that will be present during the days of Antichrist. As the pleasure-loving spirit begins to cover the land we need to be especially careful that we keep our love for Christ fervent and pure, that we do not allow the world spirit to seep into our soul. In this manner we can keep from being deceived by the Laodicean spirit.

The Man of Sin (Antichrist) Will Drive the Saints Into Hiding

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute [wear down] the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time. (Daniel 7:25)
Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered [crushed], all these things shall be finished. (Daniel 12:7)
But the woman [the elect] was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14)
It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. (Revelation 13:7)

The four passages quoted above reveal to us that before Christ returns and destroys Antichrist by the power of His Presence (thus bringing to an end the persecution of the believers—see II Thessalonians 1:7-9), God will allow Antichrist to scatter the Christians saints over the face of the earth, driving them into hiding and preventing them from teaching and preaching in the centers of civilization.

There will be Christian churches in every city but they will be Laodicean churches. They will have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. Antichrist and his followers—the lawless masses of mankind—will insist that the Christian churches continue but that there be no expression of the Spirit of God in those churches (Revelation 11:9).

God will allow the witness of the saints to be overcome in order that lawlessness may come to maturity and be judged. But the saints themselves, their personal relationship with Christ, cannot be overcome. The forces of Hell can never overcome the Church of Christ! Furthermore, God will provide every need for His true saints wherever they are located, even in the remote areas of earth. There they will be protected until Jesus returns to exalt them to glory (Revelation 11:11).

We read in II Thessalonians that the restraining power will be removed so that the man of sin can be revealed.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. (II Thessalonians 2:7)

The restraining power, according to our understanding, is the anointed Christian testimony. That testimony is continuing today in the major cities of the earth, although some countries are persecuting the saints.

As we stated previously, it is our conviction that we now are entering the greatest revival in all history. We believe that the doors to every country will open and the saints will be enabled to preach the Gospel with signs and wonders to every city, every town, every village, every tribe on the earth.

As soon as God decrees that the testimony of the saints has been completed He will permit Antichrist to crush the testimony and scatter the disciples so they no longer can affect world opinion.

This is the manner in which the Holy Spirit will be “taken out of the way,” as we understand it.

When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. (Revelation 11:7)

Then the foulest, most hideous orgies of all time will take place in the nations of the world. Unbridled lust, murder, riotous living, covetousness, occult practices—all that a wicked person has ever desired—will be practiced without restraint on the earth.

It is this apostasy, this lawlessness, this wicked world spirit that will make it possible for a Satan-possessed human being finally to sit on the throne, on the Mercy Seat, in the Temple of God in Jerusalem. He will declare that he indeed is God and greater than all the other gods that have been worshiped by mankind.

If a person were to make such a statement today the Christian people, and the devout Jews as well, would rise up and pray and object until the pretender was overcome. The time is not here as yet but the drift toward lawlessness is preparing the way for the abomination that will bring unprecedented desolation to earth’s cultures.

In those days (and perhaps they are near!) each believer in Christ must choose whether or not to follow the Lord. It will be easy and convenient to yield to Antichrist and worship in a lukewarm church. Antichrist at first will not appear as a monster but as a benefactor of all persons of good will.

But Antichrist insidiously will put pressure on the saints who are fervent and filled with God’s Spirit. He will work until world opinion is against the saints. Economic stress will increase until God’s people will find it increasingly difficult to provide for the needs of their families—just as is true in some countries today.

It will be much easier to agree and have fellowship with the lawless majority than to be a Spirit-filled saint of Christ and bear a true witness of Christ.

Woe! woe! woe to any believer who turns away from the love of Christ and permits his thinking and actions to be molded by the world spirit! He will lose his crown of life and suffer much torment.

“And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:11)

Great glory and authority will be given to those who lead a live of victory in Christ during the rule of Antichrist.

He who endures to the end shall be saved. Many who live in the last days will be first in the Kingdom of God. The end-time will witness frightful scenes as the spirit of Satan expresses itself in the lives of men and women. But during that time the Glory of Christ will shine as never before in the hearts of those who are faithful to God.

Divine Virtue always shall triumph over wickedness, even in the dark days ahead. When spiritual darkness attains its fullness, covering earth’s peoples, then the Light of God Almighty will suddenly shine through the saints and the end of sin and rebellion will be at hand.

The Man of Sin Will Take His Seat in the Temple in Jerusalem

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away [rebellion] comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition [destruction],
who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (II Thessalonians 2:3,4)
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. (Daniel 11:36)

We are of the opinion that the “abomination of desolation” (Matthew 24:14) is Antichrist sitting between the wings of the Cherubim of Glory in a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. Antichrist has been with us since the first century but the power of the Holy Spirit in the saints has prevented his worldwide manifestation.

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. (I John 2:18)

Just before the Lord Jesus returns, the spirit of Antichrist will come to the fullness of expression in one man, just as in the same period of time the Spirit of Christ will come to maturity in the holy remnant of God’s people.

The spirit of Antichrist is the spirit of lawlessness. Do we not see, over the last several hundred years of world history, and particularly in our own day, the rise of lawlessness? The rise of lawlessness is the rise of Antichrist. Lawlessness produces desolation as experienced Christians learn throughout their lifetime on earth.

Antichrist makes his own laws according to his own self-centered will. He puts himself above God and desires worship. He is the personification of the exaltation of man above his Creator.

Do we see such willfulness, such self-determination being glorified in the centers of learning? From grade school through the university young people are being persuaded that people should not be hindered from doing as they please. This is the rise of Antichrist.

Let us flee into the wilderness, so to speak, and live with God as did Elijah of old. Let us flee! flee! flee from the spirit of lawlessness that is capturing the minds and hearts of people everywhere!

The spirit of the love of money and of lawlessness already is at work in our midst. The deceiving, corrupting, poisonous leaven of it even now is fermenting in our thinking and in our deeds.

Let us flee from the pursuit of money and lawlessness before “666” has corrupted our mind and our deeds. “666” (Revelation 13:18) is a symbolic way of portraying that the worship of man’s self-will shall be the “name of the beast.”

Six means that man will be deified. Man was created on the sixth day. Three sixes signifies that man will claim to be God. Three is the number of Divinity. The mark in the “right hand” or “foreheads” (Revelation 13:16) speaks of the conforming of our deeds and minds to the spirit of the world (see Romans 12:1,2).

It is our understanding that Antichrist will be a man of tremendous political ability and charm and that he will enlist the aid of supernatural forces. His lust for power will drive him until Satan is able to possess him completely. Then he will be the incarnation of Satan, of lawlessness, of mutiny against the rule of God Almighty.

In his ambition to rule the world the man of sin will perceive the political advantage of associating himself with God, for many of earth’s peoples believe in God and fear God. Also we must remember that the rise of Antichrist has been preceded by an outpouring of God’s Spirit of unparalleled glory and power. The peoples of the world then will be ready to accept as their worldwide leader someone who is (as they believe) associated with the God of Heaven.

Only a student of the Tabernacle of the Congregation can appreciate the depth of foulness of the indescribably abominable thought of a human being entering past the sacred veil into the Holy of Holies and there taking his place on the Mercy Seat between the wings of the Cherubim of Glory.

Will he not say that he is the very Shechinah, the Glory of the God of Israel?

We may gasp in horror. But isn’t it true that in the large universities of the world today the students are being taught that man should rule the world apart from God and that the only god is the inner self of the individual? Isn’t it true that even in the secondary and elementary schools the children are being persuaded that the highest value in life is the pursuit of one’s own will and ambitions?—that the greatest harm we can do to an individual is to deny him or her the right to follow his own will?

If this is what is being taught, and if we are participating in it, then we are by our own choice being filled with the spirit of delusion concerning the self-centeredness of man and his supposed “rights.” We are enthroning man between the golden wings of the Cherubim of Glory.

Let each saint of Christ flee into the wilderness with God rather than partake of the spirit of lawlessness that is all about us today.

The Last Trumpet Will Sound, and Christ Will Gather His Saints to Himself and Pour Out Destruction on the Wicked

“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew 24:27)

Anyone who has lived where there are electrical storms knows there is nothing secretive about lightning. The dark clouds swollen with rain blot out the sun, moon, and stars. Tension builds as the electrons accumulate on the higher points of the landscape.

Suddenly the electricity discharges, leaping from the earth to the clouds. Brilliant forks of light reflecting enormous energy momentarily illuminate the blackness. We know that the energy of the Holy Spirit that will lift the Church in the Day of the Lord will be enormous—powerful enough to pluck God’s saints from all the forces of Satan.

Then comes the crashing roar of the displaced air rushing back together. The windows rattle. People and animals are stunned. Somehow the majesty of God comes to mind and the affairs of earth are seen in perspective to be the feeble activities of ants crawling about in the dust.

So it will be in the Day of the Son of Man. The light of the Holy Spirit suddenly will shine through the saints—the saints on earth and the saints coming from Heaven with the Lord Jesus. The light of God in the saints, the same light that was separated from the darkness in the beginning of the creation, will reach from horizon to horizon. This will take place when spiritual darkness is at its peak.

Earth’s peoples will see the Light of God’s Glory on the saints.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. (Isaiah 60:2)

Then will come the galaxy-creating power of the Word of command of Christ and the powerful voice of the chief angel of God. The majesty of God will be revealed. The peoples of the earth will stagger about in frightened confusion. Their terror and frustration will turn to unbearable remorse as they realize that the gates of redemption may be closed to them for eternity.

Remorse will turn to rage as the lost confront their leaders, their deceivers—those who have taught them that man can bring peace on earth apart from Christ.

Satan will mock the lost in that hour, heaping coals of torment on their heads. The vials of Divine wrath will be poured on the wicked, on the servants of Antichrist. They will cry to the mountains and rocks to fall on them and hide them from the face of God and the Lamb.

Up to the time of the appearing of Christ the saints had been persecuted and tormented by Antichrist and his wicked subjects. Now the vengeance of God has been revealed from Heaven and the tormentors have become the tormented.

The sons of God will show no mercy on evildoers in that Day but will crush the wicked under their feet.

You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 4:3)

Relief will come to the besieged saints of the last days, not by a mythical “rapture” but by the reinforcements that will descend from Heaven and destroy the forces of Hell.

and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (II Thessalonians 1:7,8)

As soon as their spirits have been reunited with their bodies the saints of all ages will ascend from the face of the earth. Their movement upward will be graceful, magnificent—wonderful beyond words. The sky will be filled with them. They will be as clouds ascending into the clouds.

The anthems of praise to God and to the Lamb that was slain will thunder from horizon to horizon as the music of a celestial pipe organ. The incredible grandeur of that moment will surpass any scene that could be painted by the most gifted of artists.

Truly, God shall prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

Now the wrath of God will be poured on the wicked of the earth.

“They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. (Luke 17:27)
“but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone [burning sulfur] from heaven and destroyed them all.
“Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:29,30)

We have just completed the sixth of the seven major events in the coming of the Day of the Lord.

This marks the end of the Christian pilgrimage as we know it. From this point onward there will be no more trials for the saints (according to our understanding in the present hour), no more sickness or death. They are forever with their Lord. They are immortal having been clothed with bodies of glory. This is the first resurrection, the reward of the overcomer. The saints now will be assigned their places of authority and service.

The time has come for Christ and His coheirs to inherit the earth and earth’s peoples. Christ will sit on the Throne of David in Jerusalem and the nation of Israel will be exalted to preeminence. The Gentile nations that have survived Armageddon and have been accepted of the Lord will have a thousand years to inhabit a redeemed earth. During this period of time they will be compelled to obey the laws of the Kingdom of God.

Each saint will become a fountain of the living waters of the Holy Spirit. Out from the Body of Christ will flow the River of Life, bringing salvation and healing to the saved peoples of the earth (Ezekiel 47:9).

Christ and His Saints Will Descend To Establish the Kingdom of God on the Earth

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men [‘Christian’ sinners] also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
“to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 1:14,15)
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. (Revelation 19:11)

The saints will be lifted from the surface of the earth and then the vials of God’s wrath will be poured on the rebellious. Those who have accepted the way of Antichrist and have worshiped him shall “drink of the wine of the wrath of God.” They will have no rest day or night but will be “tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.”

Suddenly the heavens will open and the Lord Jesus will appear on a white horse followed by “ten thousands of his saints.” They will be arrayed in ranks, ready to “judge and make war.”

Antichrist and the kings of the earth and their armies will gather together to resist the occupation of the earth by the Lord Jesus and His army. This terrible confrontation is the Battle of Armageddon.

The LORD gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; who can endure it? (Joel 2:11)

Every believer who rides with Christ in the Day of the Lord will be “called, chosen and faithful.” There is no power in the heavens or on the earth that can withstand the Lord Jesus and His saints. The Beast and the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20) will be taken and thrown alive (in their bodies) into the Lake of Fire. The remnant of evildoers will be slain by the Word of God issuing from the mouth of Christ.

As soon as all opposition has been destroyed the Lord Jesus will take His seat on the Throne of David in the City of Jerusalem.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:32).

(It is entirely possible that the sheep and goat judgment will take place in front of the White Throne after the thousand-year Kingdom Age, and not at the time of the next appearing of the Lord.)

The Lord Jesus will decide which of the nations are permitted to enter into eternal life, into the Kingdom of God. Whether or not a nation is allowed to enter the Kingdom will depend on how it treated the Lord’s brothers, His servants, His witnesses.

In that Day, all the peoples of the earth will behold the Glory of the Lord shining from within the saints.

when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. (II Thessalonians 1:10)

The victorious saints will appear with Christ, being an integral part of His appearing.

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. (Colossians 3:4)

They are an integral part of His appearing because Christ is their Life. Christ has become their Life because they live not only by natural food but by the body and blood of the Lord.

“Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:54)

Where the carcass (the slain Lamb) is, there will the “eagles” be gathered together. The “eagles” are those who live by the body and blood of the slain Lamb.

In that Day the saints will be one in the Father and the Son. As a result, the peoples of the earth will believe that Christ has come from the Father.

“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that you sent Me. (John 17:21)

In that Day the saints will be an inseparable part of Christ, being married to Him and in every way the fullness of His Person and expression of His Glory, His majesty, His deeds, His words, and His thoughts. Then the peoples of the earth will understand that God has sent Christ and has loved the saints as He has loved His firstborn Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“I in them, and you in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that you have sent Me, and have loved them as you have loved Me. (John 17:23)
