The Daily Word of Righteousness

Revelation 21:8, continued

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

If we love the world and are never delivered from that craving there is only one place for us—and it is not inside the wall of the new Jerusalem. We can say the name of Jesus all we want to, even while we are standing outside the wall. But these attitudes and behavior belong in the Lake of Fire, not in the Kingdom of God. This is an eternal verdict, an eternal judgment, and no power in the heavens, on the earth, or in the dark regions beneath the surface of the earth can alter one jot or tittle of it.

Liars. Satan is the father of lies. All liars will have their permanent residence in the Lake of Fire.

Some Christians lie when it would be just as easy to tell the truth. They are inveterate, confirmed liars. Don't tell me this is not the case. I know better!

The casual approach to the truth is one product of the Evangelical teaching of a sovereign, unconditional amnesty—the monumental deception that passes for the Gospel in our day.

What do we do if we are liars? The same as we said before.

Go to the Lord and name this sin clearly and specifically. Tell the Lord you are condemning it to the Lake of Fire where it belongs, that you want no part of lying.

If you do this as fervently as you can, God will forgive you and cleanse the lying spirit from your personality. He will restore you to fellowship with the Father. Ask God to give you the truthfulness of Jesus Christ.

In the future do what you can to resist the temptation to lie, for this spirit will attempt to take control of you again. You will find a power to resist lying you never before have experienced.

If yours is an unusually tough case, bring it before the elders of your church. Have them take authority over the spirit of lying and cast it from you.

Ours is a new day. The Day of Atonement, the time when one goat was slain for forgiveness and another for deliverance, is beginning to be fulfilled.

Perhaps in your assembling you are beginning to practice moral deliverance. This is the baptism of fire mentioned by John the Baptist. This is the cleansing of the priesthood predicted by Malachi.

First the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Then the baptism with fire as the Lord burns the chaff and gathers the wheat into His barn.

You will find that as you confess your sin and renounce it, naming it specifically and clearly, deliverance will occur. It does no good to come to the Lord and say I am a great sinner, deliver me from my sin. You have to specifically name the sin and judge it as evil, assigning it to the Lake of Fire. This is where it belongs.

The demons know the Day of Judgment has begun. They are hoping to talk the Christians out of it with the doctrine that we are saved and on our way to Heaven by grace.

Don't let the unclean spirits fool you. When you see their influence in your personality, come against them with all the fervency and determination you can muster.

Tell them they are not welcome. Command them to leave in the name of Jesus. Tell them they belong in the Lake of Fire.

Do this in the name of Jesus. They will obey you. They are afraid of Jesus.

Here is a one-liner for you: True Christians are not only forgiven, they are being made perfect.

May God hear all your prayers. May eternity find you within the walls of the holy city, the new Jerusalem, the Kingdom of God.
