The Daily Word of Righteousness

Revelation 11:1, continued

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (I Timothy 4:12)

Before we of the churches begin pointing the finger at the sins in our government we better examine ourselves. Are we wasting God's time? Are we living a life of ease while Christ is calling for soldiers? Are we prepared to endure hardness?

Young men and women, do not measure Christianity by what you see in the churches of today. We are horribly backslidden. I think God is counting on you to return to righteousness and lift up the bloodstained banner of Christ. The drums of El Shaddai are summoning the army. The troops in Heaven are parading before the Commander in Chief. He is worth living for and dying for.

Let your idealism reach to the heavens. Not every older Christian is a hypocrite. Do not let what you see in the churches moderate your zeal. You are young and perhaps you are beginning your ministry. Treat the old guard with respect. But when you see the cynicism and corruption that often is found, ignore it.

More than one young prophet has been destroyed by the example and advice of the older ministry. Be polite and learn what you can but do not follow their example unless they are totally sincere, totally genuine. It is grievous to see younger ministers already formed in the insincere money-grubbing, self-exalting patterns that sometimes prevail.

There are many believers who, when they see your willingness to shake off the American way of death, will follow you into battle.

We are not alone. Jesus Christ is with us and leading the way. We can do nothing without Him and He will do nothing without us.

Young people, it is a new day. The saints of the past have brought us this far. They established base camps on the sides of Mount Zion. Now we are preparing for the summit. Some of us who are older are doing everything in our power to give you the best possible footing so you can go all the way to the top.

Many of the highest thrones of glory are still vacant. Many that are last in time shall be first in the Kingdom. The opportunities are unprecedented. The spiritual deceits and traps are unprecedented in cunning. Satan has been watching Christians for two thousand years and he knows how to work the moves.

But Satan is forced to work by deception only. Christ has all the power.

Jesus Christ is a mighty Lord. He is well worth serving. How can we give Him less than our best?

Christ is God's Champion of all champions. Man of war that He is, He came and single-handedly whipped the prince of darkness.

Now He is ready to breathe into you His strength, His wisdom, His courage, His faithfulness.

How can you abandon yourself to the toys of the present age when the King of kings needs your service?

Jesus is a ferocious monarch. He makes Genghis Khan look like a schoolboy. Christ is not a timid soul who makes mild suggestions to the United Nations or pleads to have a seat at the table of governmental deliberations. He is Lord of Heaven and earth.

Will you follow the King into battle? Then ask Him for your marching orders. He will not be slow to answer you.
