The Daily Word of Righteousness

The Light That Is To Come

We have also a more sure word of prophecy [the Scriptures]; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (II Peter 1:19)

"Until the day star arise in your hearts."

When Christ enters the saint and performs the will of God in the earth, that is the day of the Lord; not the Day of the Lord that will come to all men on the earth but a personal day of the Lord in the heart of the victorious saint. It is the personal coming of the Kingdom of God.

When God's predetermined number of saints enter their personal day of the Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ will return with His heroes of faith and establish His throne in Jerusalem. From Jerusalem will go forth the law of God in the form of the conquering saints. It is Christ in them.

This is the true Kingdom of God and the manner in which the Kingdom will go into every area of the earth. The true Kingdom of God is God in Christ in the victorious saints performing God's will in the earth as it is done in Heaven.

The Day Star, Christ, will arise in His conquerors before He returns from Heaven in the Glory of His Father. The rising of the Day Star in the faithful saints is as a trumpet that heralds the Day of the Lord, the thousand-year reign of Christ. It is the fulfillment of the Levitical feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:39-43).

We keep the Word of Christ. As we do, Christ Himself, the Living Word, comes to us and takes up His abode in us. Now the Word is guarding us from the hour of testing that will test all who dwell on the earth.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

We are commanded to guard patiently the Word of Christ, even during the most trying periods of life. This world is a difficult place in which to serve God. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

As we patiently guard the Word of Christ, performing His will with all the ability and strength we have been given and can exert, Christ Himself enters us. He is the Power in us who overcomes the world and Satan.

The pressures on people will mount in the last days until spiritual darkness prevents all human effort in the things of God.

Today the unsaved people resist the works of Christ, claiming there is no God, there is no Christ. But in the hour that is coming, men will understand there is a God. They deliberately shall withstand the will of God. When they behold Christ returning to the earth, the armies of the nations will fight against Him, understanding and knowing they are fighting God.

But at the same time Christ will enter those who stedfastly are looking to Him for the grace to lead a godly life in the satanic darkness.

Christ becomes our Life. He becomes our Strength. He becomes our Light in the spiritual darkness. He becomes our Wisdom and Power to serve God. He becomes our Health. He becomes our Redemption. He Himself is our Resurrection from the dead.

To be continued.
