Man-centeredness, #30

And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace [while they are at ease, or when they feel secure] shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25)

Satan perceives that God's people enjoy being comfortable, being flattered, being set at ease. They regard as a friend anyone who will give them what they desire. Therefore Satan intends to destroy the churches with money, prosperity, and ease. He already is employing this technique successfully among the believers in many nations of the world.

The voice of Antichrist and of the False Prophet is being heard in the Christian churches, including the Charismatic churches. The voice of Antichrist and the False Prophet can be detected by its appeal to the self-love and self-interests of the believers. The followers of Jesus are to be rich, healthy, and have every other advantage in the world. It is not Christ who is being presented but techniques for using Christ for the gain of the believers. The Christian becomes king and Christ is his servant.

The spirit of the False Prophet is the attempt to realize Kingdom power and blessings apart from the Lord Jesus Christ.

The False Prophet is man-centeredness in the spirit realm.

Antichrist is man-centeredness in the political realm.

Babylon is man-centeredness in the ecclesiastical realm.

It is not yet time for the glory of the manifestation of the sons of God. Ours is the hour of patient, cross-carrying obedience to Christ. There are sufferings that must be borne on behalf of the Body of Christ. Satan always is tempting us to reach for the glory of the Kingdom before our time has come, just as he tempted the Lord Jesus.

Let us beware! Let us examine those who profess to be apostles of Christ but who are telling us we can reign as kings in the world. The fruit of their lives will reveal they are liars. They are the enemies of the cross. Their god, which they worship devoutly, is their own belly.

The Beginning of the Creation of God

All things and personages, whether they are things in the heavens or things on the earth, were created by and for the Lord Jesus Christ. All exist in Him and He is over all.

Through Christ, the eternal Logos, God created all things including the personages of the heavens. Now Christ has died on the cross, bringing to an end the entire first creation. Christ has risen as the Firstborn from the dead, the Beginning of the new creation of God. All who would be saved to eternal life must enter His resurrection, for the old creation is dead.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18)

We see, therefore, that the Lord Jesus Christ is supreme in every respect. The God of Heaven desires that all eyes, human and angelic, be fastened on Christ. He is destined to become the Center of all things of the creation.

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: (Ephesians 1:10)

"Both which are in heaven, and which are on earth." The Lord Jesus is the Center and the Circumference of all things!

To be continued.
