The Daily Word of Righteousness

The New World of Righteousness, #3

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. (John 20:22,23)

Whatever the Spirit-filled saints bind on earth is bound in Heaven. Whatever they loose is loosed in Heaven. Whoever's sins they retain are retained before Almighty God. Whoever's sins they forgive are forgiven in the sight of God.

Because of this awesome responsibility the sons of God are trained carefully during their period of probation on the earth. God never will trust any person with the authority and power of judgment until that individual has been tested in every necessary manner. The sons of God are obedient to the Father regardless of the pain, cost, or inconvenience to themselves.

Under the heaviest of burdens they cry out, "Not my will but Thine be done." Christ is pounded into them until there is not an atom of their personality left untouched. They live by the Life of Jesus.

They are a continuation, an expression, a multiplication of the Life of God that flows through the Lord Jesus Christ. They can be trusted to serve God under all conditions, in every situation. They never will take the Glory of God to themselves. They have been transformed eternally in the furnace of afflictions, in the prison of frustrations and deferred hopes.

Christ working in and with them will release the creation into the glorious liberty of the children of God. The Kingdom of God will fill the whole earth, under the loving direction of God the Father.

How wonderful it will be when, because of the revelation of the sons of God, "there will be no more curse" on the earth!

Because the creature [creation] itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:21)

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:4)

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' [viper's] den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9)

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. (Isaiah 55:12,13)

In the present hour the Throne of God and of the Lamb is in Heaven above.

The conquering saint is lifted to that throne.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Revelation 3:21)

When the Lord Jesus returns with His saints the Throne of God will have come to the earth. Then there will follow a new world of righteousness.
