The Daily Word of Righteousness

The Ruler, #41

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12)

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast on the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes on the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. (Ezekiel 28:14-19)

Satan and his angels will be "cast out into the earth. He will be brought to ashes on the earth in the sight of those who behold him. His followers will be appalled at the spectacle of Satan turned to ashes on the earth and he himself will be terrified.

Here is the conclusion of the wrestling match. Here is the patience and faith of the saints. Here is total victory.

Those who are alive on the earth and on the waters of the earth will be confronted with the horror of sharing the planet with a furious Satan and his followers—the rebellious angels. Woe to the peoples of the earth when this company of spirits is exiled to the earth! These devils desire to rule the earth from the spirit realm, not to be forced to live on it and to suffer the consequences of their behavior.

The elect, the remnant, the saints, will be hidden away and protected by the hand of God Almighty. They will sing and dance on the heights of Zion while the world is in flames. They will be safe, dwelling in the Eighteenth, the Thirty-fourth, the Thirty-seventh, and the Ninety-first Psalms, and in all the other promises—the high towers and fortresses—of the Lord.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

No spirit, no human, no power whatever of any kind can break past the Word of the Lord or the angel of the Lord and harm one of God's elect. Our God is our majestic Fortress. We are perfectly safe and secure when we are abiding under His wings no matter what comes to pass on the earth or in the heavenlies.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:35-37)

To be continued.
