The Daily Word of Righteousness

Togetherness, #8

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3—NIV)

The emphasis now is on becoming one with God through Christ. It is a day of reconciliation to God. After that, in God's time, will come reconciliation with each other.

This is not to say we should not do all in our power today to strive for harmony and peace in whatever situation we find ourselves.

When the hour arrived for the animals to enter the Ark they came up over the horizon, being moved by the Spirit of God. Noah's job was to build the Ark. God brought the inhabitants.

God did not tell Ezekiel to put the bones together, just to prophesy to them.

Today is a day of prophesying to the dead bones of the churches, announcing to them the Word of the Lord. The Spirit of God will do the rest.

Whenever we put our hand on the Ark, so to speak, the result will be chaos.

Will there be nations in the future ages or is God going to make an end of the nations of the earth? Yes, there shall be nations in the future even though they all are part of the one Kingdom of Christ. God desires that people be grouped in families and nations just as we enjoy various kinds of flowers and trees. What if there were only one kind of flower, only one type of bush, only one type of tree?

Now it will come about that in the last days, the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. (Isaiah 2:2—NASB)

The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. (Revelation 21:24—NIV)

At the end of the thousand-year Kingdom Age Satan will gather together the peoples of the earth in one last attempt to overcome the saints. But God will soon put an end to that!

And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. (Revelation 20:7-9—NASB)

Satan was having his way in the building of the Tower of Babel. Satan is having his way as wealthy, powerful people of our time are seeking a one-world government. Satan will once more have his way at the end of the thousand-year Kingdom Age. In every instance God will use Satan's attempts to further God's purposes with His elect.

To be continued.
