The Daily Word of Righteousness

Two Beginnings, #26

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: (Ephesians 1:10)

As we have stated, all created things, whether of the heavens or the earth, must be made new and must become part of Christ. How the angels will become part of Christ we do not know. But if God is to be All in all, and if God will dwell only in Christ, then the angels will be touched with Christ in some manner.

However, redeemed man will not only be touched with Christ but will have Christ dwelling in him. To become the dwelling place of the Father and the Son is possible only to human beings.

Man was created to be the chariot of God and the ruler and judge over all the works of God's hands.

The Kingdom of God is first an inner kingdom, and only after the inner kingdom has been established can there be an outer kingdom. The Seed of the Kingdom is Christ.

Some people will reap Christ one hundredfold. These are the firstfruits of the Church.

Some will reap Christ sixtyfold. These are of God's elect but have not attained the fullness that is possible and available. Some will reap Christ thirtyfold. These no doubt are the members of the nations of the saved; for there shall be no more sea, no more mass of people who do not possess at least a portion of Christ.

Not only angels and people but the spiritual and physical environments as well will be part of and reflect the Glory that is Christ.

The new earth will probably be many, many times the size of the present earth for it must support a city fifteen hundred miles in height, fifteen hundred miles wide, and fifteen hundred miles in length.

All shall be made new and all shall be part of the resurrected Christ. The resurrected Christ will have a new name to signify His new beginning and the victorious saints will possess that new name of Christ.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

When God has brought all things under the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ, then the Lord Jesus will be subject to the Father that the Father may be All in all. This marks the end of the rebellion and the beginning of untold ages in which every day (if time then is marked in days) will be more joyous, more glorious than the previous day.

To be continued.
