The Daily Word of Righteousness

Two Beginnings, #28

Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner. (Nehemiah 8:18)

The Law of Moses is read during the feast of Tabernacles and there is great rejoicing over the Law.

When the new Jerusalem descends from the new heaven to reside eternally on the new earth, all of the aspects of God's eternal plan will have been accomplished.

The rebellion will be a thing of the past. The huge, impenetrable wall, the resistance to sin that has been created in the members of the Body of Christ, will eternally prevent sin and rebellion from entering the Presence of God, the Lamb, and the Lamb's Wife.

The Logos will have been established as the Center of a new creation, filling all things in the heavens and on the earth with Himself. The Logos will be subject to the Father who subjected all things to Him, and now the Father will be All in all.

A bride will have been prepared for the Lamb. The Bride is the new Jerusalem, the Lamb's Wife, the Church, the Tabernacle of God, the holy city.

The love of the Lamb for His Bride is as intense as the Nature of God. The Song of Solomon speaks of the Lamb's love for her. She is more important to Him than a thousand heavens.

Of all of the dimensions of redemption we have mentioned, it is the love of the Lamb for His Wife that is the most important. The Lamb can create a thousand heavens in a moment of time. But the development of a perfect, unblemished complement for the Lamb of God is an exceedingly difficult, complicated, lengthy process.

It is impossible to rightly comprehend any aspect of the Christian salvation until we begin to have some idea of the love of the Lamb for His Bride. It is His love for her that is His motivation for all He does.

The marriage of the Lamb is at hand, and what a time of rejoicing it will be when the Bride finally has been made ready for her Husband.

A living temple for God will have been created. From eons past the Father has desired a living house, a dwelling place in which He can find rest and appear among His creatures, guiding and blessing them. He has made Christ the chief Cornerstone of His living house and we are being made living stones of the house of God. The new Jerusalem is this perfected, glorious, eternal Tabernacle of God. Now the Tabernacle of God has come down to dwell among saved mankind forever.

God has formed a body for Christ, the Servant of the Lord. Christ is the Head of the Body. Christ—Head and Body—will bring salvation to Israel and justice and peace to the nations of saved peoples of the earth.

God has prepared sons who can properly receive and administer God's Holy Spirit. The administering of the Life of God's Holy Spirit, the bringing of eternal Life to all saved people, will not be performed randomly or as rain from Heaven. The saints will minister eternal Life from their personalities. The creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God so the creation may be brought into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

To be continued.
