The Daily Word of Righteousness

Two Beginnings, #33

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)

The Day of Form, as witnessed to by Adam and Eve, will have found fulfillment in the "all things new" of the new heaven and earth reign of Christ. All things of the creation must be made new in Christ or they cannot enter the new world, the Kingdom of God.

The Day of Separation, as witnessed to by Abraham and Sarah, will have found fulfillment in the wall of the new Jerusalem. God's holy family, His elect, His anointed, forever will be separated from the other nations of the earth. The purpose of the wall is to separate the precious from the vile, the holy from the unholy.

Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 15:19,20)

The Day of Righteousness, as witnessed to by Moses and Aaron, will find fulfillment in the holiness of the holy city. The holy Law has been made flesh in the form of Christ and now is being made flesh in all those who are an integral part of Christ. The Law made flesh in the form of the new Jerusalem is the covenant that God has made with mankind—a covenant that states if people will choose to belong to the Lord and not to themselves, the Lord God will consent to be their God and to dwell among them in the form of His Tabernacle—the Lamb and His Wife. The Lamb and His Wife are the Olive Tree, the true Israel, the Heir of the "all things" of God.

In Israel the nations of saved peoples of the earth shall behold the righteousness and praise of God.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isaiah 61:11)

The fruit of righteousness shall come forth from the nations of the saved because of the Presence of Christ—Head and Body.

He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit. (Isaiah 27:6)

The "fruit" for which the Father waits patiently is the righteousness and holiness of the moral image of Christ.

The Day of Light, as witnessed to by the Father and the Son, has found fulfillment in the glorious light that radiates from the throne of God and of the Lamb, the light in which the nations of the saved walk.

"Light," in this instance, is not an abstract energy, it is a Person.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:4,5)
