The Daily Word of Righteousness

A Basic Concept, #4

Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles [nations] shall come unto thee. The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord. (Isaiah 60:4-6)

Compare Revelation:

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. (Revelation 21:24)

The nation that refuses to serve God's elect will be punished.

For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. (Isaiah 60:12)

As soon as Christ—Head and Body—is located in Jerusalem and is governing the earth from there, it will be required of the nations of saved peoples of the earth to come to Jerusalem annually to observe the feast of Tabernacles. The nations of the saved will celebrate the feast of Tabernacles by recognizing and being blessed by the fact that God is tabernacling in Christ who in turn is tabernacling in His Body, His Church.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16)

Here we have Jerusalem, God's elect, and then the nations of saved peoples of the earth ("every one that is left").

The Jews will resist Antichrist and the desires of the major nations, and great armies will march against Jerusalem.

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. (Daniel 11:41)

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. (Zechariah 14:2)

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. (Luke 21:20)

Jerusalem will be taken and desolated—a repeat of what happened under Nebuchadnezzar, and later under the Roman general Titus in the first century. On this third occasion, Jerusalem will be attacked by "many nations." As soon as this happens, the Lord and His saints will descend in flaming glory and destroy Antichrist and the armies of wickedness.

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. (Zechariah 14:3)

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19:19)

The wicked shall be destroyed.

To be continued.
