The Heavenly Jerusalem, #13

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

In the Father's house there are "many rooms." Christ returned to the Father so these rooms in God may be prepared, that each of the elect may become a part of the new Jerusalem, the Wife of the Lamb, the Tabernacle of God Almighty.

If we choose to become a victorious saint we can proceed to become a "pillar" in the Temple of God.

The pillars of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and of Solomon's Temple, were so extraordinarily important that the removal of one of them would have destroyed the perfection of the entire structure.

Once an individual becomes a pillar in the Temple of God he "shall go no more out." How could he go out? If he were to be removed, the perfection of the house of God would be destroyed. The holy city would be blemished because one of the supporting pillars had been removed.

The house of God is being constructed so the world may behold it and profit from it.

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe thou hast sent me. (John 17:21)

"That the world may believe!"

The tabernacle, the dwelling place, of God is designed to be placed on earth so the nations may have access to the Presence and blessing of God, not as is true today where the nations stagger about in famine and chaos, blindness and death. God is creating His living Temple so He may be present among the peoples of the earth.

God already possesses a temple in Heaven. When He is dwelling there He is not present among His creatures on the earth. God is able to find His rest, His pleasure, among His creatures in the earth only by dwelling in Christ.

In God's eternal Tabernacle on the earth there are to be many rooms, many places in which God can find rest and pleasure. Do you desire to be created an eternal room in the living Temple of God?

God is coming to live among men. God is incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now God's incarnation is being enlarged as Christ is being formed in us.

God is coming to live among men. Paradise is regained: first in the Lord Jesus Christ; next in the members of the Body of Christ; finally in the entire creation of God (Romans 8:21).

Glorified man is the chariot of God, the vehicle in which He can ride and be among His creatures.

God loves the nations of the earth and His name is on them.

That they [God's saints] may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen [nations], which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. (Amos 9:12)

God so loved the world . . . the world!

To be continued.
