The Daily Word of Righteousness

A Basic Concept, #16

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:21)

The restorers of Paradise on earth. Paradise will be restored to the earth at the hands of the sons of God.

The material creation will be set free when the Lord Jesus and His brothers return in the Glory of the Father.

The Day of the Lord is being created in God's elect. The Day Star, Christ, rises in our heart as we serve the Lord in diligent discipleship.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy [the Scriptures]; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (II Peter 1:19)

The Day Star heralds the Day of the Lord. The principal characteristic of the Day of the Lord is that all the works of the flesh are brought down and the Lord alone is exalted.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. (Isaiah 2:11)

We may be looking for a new age in which righteousness and glory will pour down from Heaven and nature will come alive in the Spirit of God. The truth is, the new age is being created in God's victorious saints. When the Kingdom of God, the rule of God, the will of God, has been perfected in them, then the Lord Jesus will return to earth with His saints and with them and through them set up His Kingdom.

The Day of the Lord, the Millennium, the new world wherein dwells righteousness, the peaceable kingdom, will come from within the elect. The lion and the lamb must lie down in peace together in us, meaning that the savage aspect of our personality (which is of God and of the image of God) must be at peace with the meek aspect of our personality (which also is of God and of the image of God). Both of these aspects, the savage and the meek, must be led by a little child. We must become as little children in malice if we would enter the Kingdom of God.

The curse will be lifted at the hands of the sons of God. Eternal life will be given to people at the hands of the sons of God. The areas of earth that have been destroyed will be rebuilt by the sons of God.

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. (Isaiah 61:4)

The Glory of the Lord will fill the earth because of the Presence of Christ—Head and Body.

The garden of God cannot come to the earth for mankind to enjoy until God's elect are renewed in image and brought into union with God through Christ.

To be continued.
